Swagata currently works as a Principal Data Scientist with Boomi with over 7 years experience in Healthcare, Retail and Platform Integration industry. She is the chapter lead for San Francisco Women in Data community, where she advocates and mentors women interested in pursuing data careers. She is particularly interested in Natural Language Processing, and focuses on researching how to make NLP models work in a practical setting. In her spare time, she loves to play her guitar, sip masala chai and find new spots for doing Yoga.
