Crystal is the Head of Legal & Compliance at Blend, where she is responsible for leading day-to-day legal affairs for the company, including risk management, commercial contracts, corporate governance, and intellectual property, among other areas. Prior to joining Blend, Crystal was a “Founders Club” member of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), a federal agency created in response to the 2008 financial crisis. Crystal hold a bachelor’s degree in international business from Texas Tech University and a J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley.
