“Finding your niche by identifying your strengths” by Ashley McIntyre, Sales Engineering Manager
Ashley will share her own experience and some tips to answer the age old question of how to figure out your career when you don’t know what you want to be “when you grow up.” Many Engineering and CS majors don’t realize there are avenues other than traditional engineering roles you can take with your degree and it’s easy to get bogged down trying to find a role that both excites you and grows your career. Ashley will talk through how she found her home in sales engineering by identifying her strengths and combining some of her core skill sets to solve tough problems throughout her career.

Hear her perspective on the role design has played in the success of companies and products throughout her career, and how what it means to be a designer changes as companies grow. Eunice will also share a look at how design functions at Blend, walking through what a general project might look like in terms of timeline and collaboration with other stakeholders.
“Taking action to create a more balanced workforce” by Crystal Sumner, Head of Legal & Compliance

She’ll share experiences and lessons from her law career, giving advice on how to find companies and colleagues that care about changing the narrative, and how she strives to use her position to make a positive impact.
Laney Erokan, Blend’s employee experience lead, will be emceeing an unforgettable evening.
