Purvi Desai

Purvi Desai has extensive experience driving digital transformation, innovation, and product and program management within the federal government. She is currently serving at the United States Digital Service within the Executive Office of the President. In this role, she is working with the CDC and its modernization efforts surrounding disease surveillance. She has served as the Chief of the All Domain Common Platform at Kessel Run, where she was responsible for building and maintaining the platform that supports mission applications for Air Operations Centers across the globe. As a defense contractor she has also worked to develop growth and learning programs at BESPIN, an Air Force software organization focused on mobile software development. She has consulted with the Innovatrium to develop innovation programs within the Air Force such as Project Mercury. Her experience extends to the USAF and the USAF Reserves where she has worked across a wide breadth of organizations. From managing large program budgets in the Pentagon, serving as the US delegate for a NATO standardization group, planning special operations during the 2018 Winter Olympics, and deployment experience during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM. Purvi holds a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s in Systems Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.
