Karin Underwood

Karin Underwood is currently a team lead and product manager for the U.S. Digital Service working with the U.S. Department of Justice. She previously worked on the Tech Team at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and her portfolio included helping the federal government improve the collection of power outage data, organizing the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health, and improving criminal justice data and building trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve. 

Karin has a background in social enterprise, health technology, and business, and she has worked across international social enterprises and for-profit health technology startups. She holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis.
