Before the war, she led digital workshops for women and girls for the Swiss nonprofit Challenge for Change, which catalyzes positive change for marginalized women in the Middle East and specifically those affected by conflict or war. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Islamic University of Gaza.
