Susan joined Tesla to build and lead the Global tax organization to support Tesla’s exponential growth. Previously, Susan was Senior Director of International Tax at Juniper Networks where she led a global tax and legal team in charge of tax planning initiatives and audit defense. Prior to Juniper, Susan spent her legal and tax career at Sanmina-SCI and Agilent Technologies, including time in Asia leading government negotiations for incentives for company expansion and greenfield operations. Susan has worked extensively in the International tax planning and controversy area and specializes in complex mergers, acquisitions, supply chain, tax negotiations, transfer pricing and international tax and legal structural planning. Susan has also spent time with the Big 4 service providers. Susan received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis in International Finance from the University of Southern California. Susan holds a law degree and attended Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago Kent College of Law and Stanford Law School. She is a member of the California Bar Association. Susan spent most of her youth living abroad and still enjoys traveling, learning languages and exploring various cultures. She is married with three children.
