Stephanie studied Electrical Engineering at UIUC. Halfway through her studies she realized hardware, signals and semiconductors were not her thing. So 1 month after graduation, she attended Dev Bootcamp in order to learn more about Web Development. 1 month after graduating Dev Bootcamp, she picked up and moved to the Bay Area from Chicago in order to find a job. First she worked as a software engineer on the UI team at AppDynamics. Now she’s at Amazon. Previously, Stephanie wrote software for soft starters at Eaton Corporation and taught high school girls how to make an LED calculator at G.A.M.E.S Camp. Outside of her technical life, Stephanie enjoys playing ukulele, eating food and backpacking (sometimes all at the same time).
