Sharmeen Chapp is a Senior Director of Product Management at Meta. Prior to Meta, she was a Senior Director of Product at Twitch, where she focusesd on trust and safety. She joined Twitch from Leeo, a smart home startup, where she was a Senior Product Engineer guiding product development from design through QA and launch. Prior to joining Leeo, she was an Engineering Manager at Raytheon focusing on radar algorithm optimization and system testing. She began her career at Hewlett Packard designing circuit boards for industrial printers. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in electrical engineering from MIT. In her free time, Sharmeen enjoys rock climbing, Indian Bollywood dancing, and founded her own professional Bollywood dance troupe. She is fluent in Urdu and Hindi and can read Arabic.
