Lori Kaplan

Lori is a seasoned design leader who has grown up with Silicon Valley and the tech industry. She is known for her foundational work in design systems and guidelines (she is the author of Macintosh Human Interface Guidelines). In her last several roles, she built successful design teams and practices in rapidly scaling companies. Lori is passionate about bringing simplicity and ease to technology that solves real problems for people. She has designed everything from OS components, developer tools, and desktop applications to e-commerce websites, web apps, and mobile experiences. Lori has worked in several domains including small business, communications, entertainment, and most recently financial services, always bringing the conversation back to the people who use the product.
