Katie joined Tesla in early 2011. She spent two years as a Systems Integration and Test Engineer and now leads a systems integration engineering team. Her team is responsible for understanding all of the systems in the cars and getting them to play nicely together, in addition to helping correct and anticipate problems before they reach the customer. Prior to joining Tesla, she worked as an Embedded Systems Design Engineer and a Technical Support Engineer at Agilent Technologies. She earned her BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Outside of work, she enjoys zooming around on bicycles, Crossfit, cooking, and generally geeking out with her friends and husband.
