Kate is the product lead at Square for point of sale. Previously, Kate was at SurveyMonkey leading strategic partnership initiatives, focused primarily on technical integrations. Kate also played a major role in SurveyMonkey’s acquisition of Wufoo and the minority investment in Clicktools. Previously, Kate worked in private equity and investment banking for Shamrock Capital Advisors and JP Morgan. She holds a B.B.A. in Finance and B.A. in Spanish from the University of Iowa and an M.B.A. from Stanford. Current trends she’s interested in include coding education (e.g. General Assembly, Hackbright), the “ new last mile problem” of APIs, and innovate payments solutions from the likes of Stripe and Dwolla. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and daughter.
