Karen Lum

Karen specializes in designing complex user experience products for Big Data/predictive analytics enterprise software. At Apigee, she worked on building a web app interface for using machine learning to segment customers, visualize big data, make sense of unstructured data, and develop reports of findings. Prior to joining Apigee, she worked at Intuit building user experiences for small businesses. Outside of UX design, Karen’s goal is to help young women build self-esteem and confidence. At age 16, she directed a short film called “Slip of the Tongue,” a defiant rejection of unrealistic beauty standards. The film won a regional Emmy Award and was screened in over 40+ film festivals around the world.
