Fatima Alloo

Fatima Alloo is Legal Counsel at TRI, where she focuses on negotiating commercial contracts and providing legal guidance on issues related to cybersecurity, data privacy and improving commercial processes. Fatima earned her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and her J.D. from UC Davis School of Law. She began her legal career as a volunteer at the ACLU, and eventually joined Liberty Mutual as a litigator before coming to the Bay Area to pursue a career in tech law. She joined a boutique patent litigation firm where represented clients in federal court in patent infringement cases. Interested in extending her ability to support technology companies, Fatima participated in a secondment to an augmented reality start-up, Meta, where she assisted with commercial, intellectual property and data privacy matters. Immediately, thereafter, she joined TRI. Outside work, Fatima enjoys adventures abroad and connecting with friends and family at ethnic eateries over spirited debate.
