Charlotte Yarkoni

As corporate vice president of Commerce + Ecosystems, Charlotte is responsible for driving accelerated cloud adoption and customer success for enterprises, ISVs, partners, developers, startups and students, as well as core commerce capabilities and infrastructure across the company. Charlotte is focused on creating a differentiated commercial experience across the Azure and AI platform, and strives to make it easier for customers and partners to do business with Microsoft. She is charged with the end-to-end customer and partner journey from discovery of Microsoft products and services to solution development to monetization and payment across Gaming, Experiences & Devices, and Cloud + AI. This includes fostering a vibrant community—online and in person—across sites like developer.microsoft.com and neighborhood campuses that host local interaction known as Reactors. In addition, Charlotte oversees current and existing business models for all Microsoft and partner products, enabling cross-selling opportunities through all channels while achieving efficiencies of consolidated legacy workflows into a modern architecture. Charlotte also sponsors the immersive startup program, Microsoft ScaleUp, and the flagship student enrichment program known as Imagine Cup. She has an extensive background in cloud-based applications and has held C-level roles for both public and privately held technology firms including CEO of a high-tech start-up. Charlotte has also worked for AT&T, IBM, and Accenture. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Management Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and has previously served as Vice Chairman at Ooyala and Board Director of the Seattle Humane Society. Charlotte lives in Kirkland, Washington with her family.

Girl Geek X Microsoft Lightning Talks & Panel

More than 200 girl geeks attended an event at Microsoft Reactor in San Francisco on Sept. 18, 2019. The evening included tech talks on machine learning, a Q&A with Microsoft leaders, and demos on mixed reality, the Fake Boyfriend App, and tech-inspired fashion.
