Ashley is a project coordinator at Restoration Hardware. Previously she was IT support tech at Marin Software. IT has not always been Ashley’s field. She got into IT through a contracting position with Genentech where they took a chance with hiring her without any IT experience aside from helping her mom and other family members with random printer issues. At Marin Software, her day went from taking apart a Macbook Air and swapping out damaged screens and rejoicing when they actually turn on. There were also days the network completely went down and she learned how to bring everything back up, and why this happened to begin with. Ashley’s passion for what she does comes from taking a very difficult task she think she cannot achieve, but somehow she is able to rock it!
