Amanda Sim

Amanda is a Senior Brand Designer who brings the Strava brand to life and is constantly examining how athletes think about Strava. Prior to Strava, Amanda was at IDEO and a Cofounder of Eone Timepieces. Her work has been featured at The Design Museum in London, on the Awwwards blog, in The Best Designs blog, and in the Graphis Annual. In addition to graphic design, Amanda is a printmaker, illustrator, photographer, welder, woodworker, quilter, sometimes-knitter, and all-around craftsperson. When she’s not working on a new project, she can be found riding her bicycle—Gentleman Bronco—around town.

Strava’s Brand team makes sure “Strava” shows up in the world in ways that resonate deeply with our athletes. We work towards being one step ahead of what athletes expect to see; aiming to frame Strava in unique and fun ways that challenge, inspire, and excite athletes and how they think about and show up in their active lives on Strava. Amanda will share how brand design can change the way people think about and interact with a digital product.
