“Semi Integrations” by Rachel Antion, Software Engineer
The Clover software suite supports about 600k small/medium business merchants in the US, but what about large merchants, or merchants who have an existing software solution but want to use our hardware? That’s where Semi-Integrations comes in. What is Semi-Integrations? Rachel will explain what it is and how it fits into the Clover business plan.
“You Don’t Have to be a Designer to Think Design” by Kejun Xu, Product Design Manager
Design Thinking is a powerful framework for innovation and collaboration. It helps product managers, engineers, and designers to align on goals, initiatives, build a safe and fun environment to work together, a recipe for high performing teams. In this lightning talk, Kejun will introduce the toolbox and activities that we use at Clover to pull teams together to practice design thinking. You don’t have to be a designer to think design.
“Fostering Customer Empathy at Clover” by Wako Takayama, User Research Lead
As with many companies, Clover faces the challenge of building products for people who have jobs that are not like ours. Wako will introduce how we foster empathy through programs that enable Clover employees to “step into the shoes” of our customers.
