Umit is an Architect at Oracle who focuses on identity management of SaaS applications and cloud initiatives on identity management. She oversees integration architecture of various products for Oracle for SaaS identity and works with multiple teams in across the organization in Oracle’s cloud journey, from life cycle management to architectures for native cloud adoption. Umit has 25+ years of experience in the industry pioneering products and initiatives for the Cloud, Web, SOA and Java Technologies. She is the co-author of a book, several patents, an editor and contributor to various standards in Web Services, Java, XML and SOA. She is a cofounder of Turkish Women in Computing community as part of Anita Borg Institute. Umit has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University.
