Speaker Bios for Dropbox Girl Geek Dinner:

Tina Schuchman (Engineering Manager, Dropbox)Tina Schuchman
Tina Schuchman is an Engineering Manager at Dropbox and responsible for the Ecosystem area across San Francisco and Seattle. She and her team leverage Dropbox’s API platform to integrate with productivity, security and management partners. Before joining Dropbox 6 years ago, Tina was a developer at Microsoft and helped launch the first version of Mac Outlook. She holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in computer architecture, both from MIT.

Aisha Ferrazares (Software Engineer & Tech Lead, Dropbox)Aisha Ferrazares
Aisha Ferrazares is a Software Engineer at Dropbox. She is currently a tech lead working on cross platform product development on the Paper Mobile team. Aisha is passionate about teaching and mentorship and attributes sticking with computer science to her job as a Teaching Assistant in university. Before working at Dropbox, she studied computer science at Brown University. This summer, Aisha was also one of the engineers in charge of the Dropbox internship program.

Jenny Astrachan (Software Engineer, Dropbox)Jenny Astrachan
Jenny Astrachan is a Software Engineer at Dropbox, currently working on the Company Dropbox team. As product engineers, the team is redesigning the Dropbox files experience for team users. Jenny is a full-stack engineer and works on web front end as well as API and server. Before Dropbox, Jenny studied computer science at MIT.

Chang Liu (Software Engineer, Dropbox)Chang Liu
Chang Liu is a software engineer at Dropbox on the data restorations team, where she builds performant, scalable and reliable systems to help users and teams restore their lost data back to their Dropbox. Before Dropbox, Chang was a software engineer at OneKingsLane, where she designed and built the A/B testing framework that powered all user experiments. Chang holds masters degrees in both Material Science and Electrical Engineering from Stanford, and a bachelor degree in Material Science from Zhejiang University, China.

Amandine Lee (Software Engineer, Dropbox)Amandine Lee
Amandine Lee is a software engineer at Dropbox, improving continuous integration and automated release for the desktop codebase. Previously, Amandine worked on Dropbox’s desktop application and malware detection APIs at Juniper Networks. She has always been interested in trying to understand, codify, and leverage complex systems, but started off studying physics and statistics at Swarthmore College. Amandine found her way to full time programming via the Recurse Center, where she first started writing Python. She’s used Python pretty much every week since, and this spring she got to speak at PyCon on error handling.
