Heather is the Head of Engineering, Seller & Consumer Growth at Opendoor, where she leads the company’s core product experience for home sellers, along with growth initiatives and retail partnerships. Prior to joining Opendoor, she was an engineering manager at Lyft, where she led an engineering team for public transit. Prior to that, Heather was a director of engineering at Capital One, and worked at ed-tech company Blackboard for 15 years, starting as a software engineer and growing to lead various teams as Director of Engineering. She has an economics degree from Wesleyan University.
