Corliss Collier

Corliss is a senior level Applied Scientist and Technical Product leader. She has worked for top Fortune 100 companies in many leadership roles helping brands measure and define market impact. Corliss has partnered with many different functions within organizations throughout her career to drive overall strategy development and brand growth through research and modeled consumer insights.

Currently, Corliss serves as Head of Product, Research & Science – Amazon Seller Satisfaction & Insights, with previous roles in Amazon as a Principal Product Manager-CMO and Technical Advisor for the Customer Behavior Analytics Organization. In this role she is responsible for leading a globally dispersed team of product managers, SDM’s SDE’s, BIE’s, TPM’s UX Designers in delivering on the North Star of making Alexa AI the perfect personal assistance for all shoppers.

Prior to joining Amazon, Corliss spent 20 years in several Tech, Applied Science, Insights, and analytical roles for organizations such as Trax Retail, Bumble Bee Foods, The Hershey Company, Danone, Dean Foods, The Coca Cola Company, Nielsen, Reynolds American Tobacco and Philip Morris/Altria, leading and developing teams and driving overall business growth through ML, analytic and insights. Corliss is a results-driven, leader and innovative insights professional that has a knack for training and development of many of the leading insights professionals.

Corliss has won numerous awards and has been recognized throughout her career for outstanding achievements in insights and marketing measurement and scientific modeling, but most recently, The Path to Purchase Institute, named her in “Who’s Who in Shopper Insights”. She has also been featured in Black Enterprise Magazine “People on the Move” listing. She was recognized by her undergraduate alma mater, Spelman College as a Distinguished Alumnae in Business and Tech as well as many published papers.

Corliss is a graduate of Spelman College in Atlanta, GA, where she received Bachelors of Arts (BA) degrees in Political Science and Economics. During that time, she interned for the State Assembly of Georgia as well as Georgia Governor Zell Miller. She also holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis on Global Management, Masters of Arts (MA) in Organizational Design and Doctorates in Business Analytics (DBA) with an emphasis on applied strategic models along with many other certifications and course work. She has a passion for mentoring and developing the careers of young professionals of color in tech while serving as a sounding board and clearing the way for the future.
