Chisom Nwokwu

Chisom Nwokwu is a Software Engineer based in Lagos, Nigeria, who works with the sustainability team at Microsoft, to help achieve its company-wide goal of becoming carbon-negative by the year 2030, where she is highly involved in helping product teams build systems that are more sustainable with proven skills in data engineering on big data platforms. She graduated from the University Of Nigeria, with a B.Sc in Computer Science right after rounding up her internship with the Bank Of America, where she worked as a Technology Analyst. Chisom is the author of a popular book titled “A Techie’s Guide into Big Tech Companies” which acts as a complete roadmap for landing jobs at international tech firms and also the developer of Igbo Amaka, a language learning app on Google Playstore with over 10,000+ downloads. Aside from engineering, Chisom has a growing YouTube Channel dedicated to tech, career-related topics and her life as a Software Engineer.
