Annamarie Dunn is the Vice President of Culture and Talent at Cadence. She believes that employee engagement is inextricably linked to trust and open communication, and that employee engagement is not a nice-to-have, but is the key ingredient to creating a great company and a high performance culture. Annamarie has led strategic employer branding, talent acquisition, learning and development and corporate communications functions, including HR internal communications, executive and programmatic communications, M&A, social media and crisis communications. She has met with hundreds of leaders from around the globe to share best practices on culture and building great workplaces. Her background includes over 20 years of high-tech marketing and communications experience in start-up and enterprise business environments. Former roles include senior director and management-level marketing and communications for companies and clients that include NetApp, Symantec, KLA Tencor, Apple, Pronto Networks, eFinance, FST, Auspex Systems, and Centigram Communications. Annamarie also ran her own communications consulting firm for several years. She has a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law and a B.A. in Sociology from U.C. Santa Cruz.
