Oakland Public School Volunteer: Asian Pacific American Read-In
SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER ON MAY 5 – READ BOOKS TO STUDENTS!
On Friday, May 3, 2024 (12:30pm-2:00pm), Girl Geek X Community VOLUNTEERS will visit elementary school classes (TK-5th grade) to read books to celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month!
We encourage folks who identify as Asian American or Pacific Islander American to sign up, but community members of all identities are welcome to participate in this event.

This event is organized in partnership with the nonprofit Oakland Public Education Fund, which connects groups with schools to make a positive impact on school culture and student achievement through relevant and meaningful volunteer projects.
