Monica Bajaj is a senior technology executive with over 20+ years of experience successfully building and scaling products and global engineering teams. She brings a unique combination of strong expertise in technology, business operations, global expansion, M&A, digital transformation, and taking products from inception to launch to scaling up. As an executive leader, investor, and advisor, she has worked across many Fortune 500 companies to scale their user base while continuing to keep user engagement, resiliency and scale top of mind.

At Okta, Monica is the Vice President of Engineering, Developer Experience for Customer Identity Cloud. In her role, she focuses on building a developer-first, frictionless, extensible identity platform that is highly scalable and secure, catering to billions of monthly logins for customers and partners. 

Monica sits on the Board of directors of SheTO focused on Women in Engineering Leadership, advisory board of the Berkeley SkyDeck startup accelerator and  Industry advisory for UCSD Jacob School of engineering.  She frequently speaks on product-led growth, enterprise readiness and scaling engineering teams. Monica holds an MS in Computer Science from IIT Mumbai, India and a BS in Computer Engineering from SGSITS, Indore, India. She is an active speaker in Silicon Valley,, a supporter of diversity in STEM, and a mentor to women and girls. When not obsessing over technology, she spends her time volunteering with the Boy Scouts and hiking with her family.
