Elena is a DesignOps leader with nearly 20 years of experience in project and program management for digital products. Most recently, she spent over three years in Design Operations at Splunk, Inc. Prior to that, Elena was part of the Google Payments team, as well as New Digital Businesses, the fin-tech incubator for the Spanish Financial group, BBVA. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Elena is an advocate for anti-racism & equity in her community, and loves to read science fiction and fantasy books whenever she can. She lives in the Outer Sunset district of San Francisco with her husband, two children, and dog – who is kind of like another child. She’s super excited to be speaking at Girl Geek X for the first time!
