Renée is responsible for developing and implementing information technology initiatives that align with the Hitachi Data Systems mission. She supervises the information systems and communications network of the company and directs the planning, implementation and continuous improvement of technology solutions in order to improve cost effectiveness, service quality, and mission development. Before coming to Hitachi Data Systems, Renée was chief information officer and vice president, business process and technology, at SC Johnson & Sons. Prior to that she served as chief information officer and vice president, IT governance services, at Symantec Corporation. She also held senior IT leadership roles at Oracle and PeopleSoft. Renée holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from UCLA, and a master’s degree in information systems from the University of Texas. She is a strong advocate of STEM programs and careers for girls and women to give them the confidence to do what inspires them.
