Vanessa is Senior Manager of Business Development and Strategy at HomeLight, where she develops, launches and manages new ventures to expand HomeLight’s market share in the real estate industry. Prior to HomeLight, she led Business Development at Houzz, the world’s largest home renovation and design platform, where she helped to scale Houzz’s business to fourteen countries and build a network of over 2 million home professionals. Vanessa also led business development for retail partnerships for Shutterfly’s portfolio of brands, and was an early employee and the Head of Marketing at Stitch Fix.Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Enterprise Management from Wake Forest University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and is an active member of local alumni organizations such as HBS Circles and Wake West. Her creative outlet is interior design, and you can often find her working on a design project or entertaining friends and family at her home.
