Stephanie is the Director of Product Strategy at Turnitin. In 2014, Stephanie joined Turnitin after they acquired LightSide Labs, a machine learning research startup spun out of Carnegie Mellon University. At LightSide, Stephanie was employee #2 and head of product and design. Prior to moving into technology startups, Stephanie worked in publishing for several years, acting as editor on multiple university-level Rhetoric and Composition volumes, as well as Fodor’s travel guide to New Zealand. She received her Bachelor’s degree in English from Harvard University and her Masters in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon.
