Ruby’s journey started in Hong Kong’s banking industry, but the real adventure began when she became a Fraud Solution Program Manager at Starbucks, launching fraud solutions from scratch for over fifteen markets worldwide. As she dove deeper into Trust and Safety, she pivoted her career from Program Manager to Product Manager. The thrill of building and innovating took her from marketplaces at Mercari to B2B payroll solutions. When she transitioned into Trust and Safety, she realized there were few resources or college degrees. Even the term “Trust and Safety” was new until she worked with a mentor who helped her navigate this new terrain. She is passionate about sharing her journey and insights with young women in tech, inspiring them to create secure and trustworthy environments in the evolving field.
