Nada Elbarkouky is an expert in digital transformation in supply chain and logistics management for 16+ years. Her current job is lecturer in the Department of Logistics, Marketing, Hospitality, and Analytics at the University of Huddersfield, U.K.
She also co-founded a startup in the field of Digital Transformation, integrating Strategy, Technology, Education, People, and Process (STEP) to accelerate supply chain operations.
Nada is an elected member of the chartered institute of Logistics and Transport,
U.K. She is a board member of Women in Logistics and Transport (WiLaT) council in Egypt. Nada has been appointed as the Advisor to H.E. the Minister of Transport, in the Ministry of Transport (MOT) Egypt.
Throughout her years of experience Nada has been consulted in various projects with private sector companies as well as government sector. Before joining the government sector, Nada worked for a group of companies in the field of freight forwarding, and Logistics including (DB Schenker, PIL, Swift group, and UTi).
Nada acquired her first Ph.D. at Ain Shams University, School of Business, production management Section. She is in the final stages of submitting her thesis on her Second Ph.D. program at School of Business Administration, University of Huddersfield, U.K.
Nada is frequent published in the field of Logistics, and business Automation in the U.S, U.K, and Spain. She worked as an Assistant Professor of Business information systems, and Supply Chain Management at the British University in Egypt, and teaches multiple courses in the MBA program, supply chain major, at the Arab Academy. She is also a supply chain lecturer at the American University in Cairo, the executive programs, designing and delivering different courses in transport and logistics certification.
