Mai Temraz is a Fulbright Scholar and MBA graduate. She is currently serving as the Student Success Coordinator at the University of California Riverside College of Engineering. She has a degree in Electrical Engineering, an MBA with a concentration in entrepreneurship, and is a Fulbright scholar.
Her passion for empowering women in STEM and entrepreneurship stems from her previous roles. She was program manager at Manara, a social impact start-up connecting software engineers to their dream jobs, and co-founded Gaza Geekettes, a community that nurtures female tech talent in Gaza. Additionally, she has been a TechWomen fellow, a start-up founder, and the first Palestinian female licensed amateur radio operator.
Through these experiences, Mai has been fortunate to receive recognition and awards, including the 2015 Change Agent ABIE Award from the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing (GHC) and the Best Entry-Level STEM Executive at the Women in STEM conference in Dubai.
