Lisa is a Senior Systems Engineer at Planet. Previously, she was a systems engineer on the B330, the first commercial expandable space station at Bigelow Aerospace in Las Vegas, NV.
She also worked as a spacecraft hardware engineer at Spire Global in Glasgow, Scotland designing the Lemur 2 constellation. Before that, she worked on multiple small satellites and spacesystems for Aurora Flight Sciences, on the original design team for MIT’s REXIS, a softxray spectrometer on NASA’s OSIRIS-REx, and mentored a Science Club for Girls rocket team for three years. She earned her aerospace engineering degree at MIT with a passion for space system designs.
