Hedyeh is a Principal Research Scientist within the Robotics and Digital Solutions organization at Johnson & Johnson. She joined the company in 2019 through the acquisition of Auris Health, Inc where she’s been since 2015 leading the Algorithms & AI development related to the Monarch® platform. Prior to joining Auris she earned her PhD in Medical Robotics at The Hamlyn Centre for Robotic Surgery within Imperial College London where her thesis focused on modelling and skill assessment for robot-assisted endovascular catheterization. Hedyeh’s research interests are in surgical navigation, surgical skill and workflow modelling, and image-guided intervention. Outside of work you could find her doing yoga, running, and enjoying classical music.
