In her 16 years at Salesforce, Bala has held various positions – both in management and as an individual contributor. Her work has ranged from writing software, overseeing the build of the first Salesforce datacenter in Asia, contributing to mission critical infrastructure projects, to successfully integrating acquisitions into Salesforce R&D. At present, Bala is an Architect in the Diagnostics, Visibility and Analytics team, which is redefining how operational data is collected and transformed at Salesforce to provide near real-time insights to both internal and external customers. Prior to Salesforce, Bala was at Oracle and Legato Systems.
