Aida is a senior member of technical staff at Oracle. She is a member of the advanced development team that works with the product teams to prepare new technologies for incorporation into Oracle’s products. Her current focus is designing and developing high level simulation tools for distributed database systems to evaluate and optimize for high performance and availability as well as hardware-software co-design for fast and secure data processing. Before joining Oracle, Aida received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Rice University, where she did research on distributed trust management in cooperative mobile ad hoc networks and also hardware design for wireless communication systems. Aida received her M.S. in Electrical Engineering from North Dakota State University and completed her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology.
