Monica is a Senior Software Development Manager an Amazon Devices New Initiative team. Monica joined Lab126 five years ago to manage the embedded software feature team on the Kindle eReader products – Paperwhite, Voyage and Oasis. She also led the embedded platform team that built the Echo Dot product. Prior to Amazon, Monica held multiple leadership positions at Cisco Systems, building enterprise networking Ethernet switching products like the Catalyst 2900/3500 series. Monica has a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering degree from Utah State University and an under graduate degree in Electrical Engineering from India.
