Sarah is an Associate at Perkins Coie. Previously, she contributed to the Coinbase legal team and oversaw the company’s state-level money transmission licensing program, advising the business on bank and other financial institution partnerships, and fostering other B2B relationships with developers and other partners. After briefly dabbling in marketing, Sarah’s legal career began in the Washington, D.C. area where she primarily engaged in litigation and arbitration in the financial services sector. In 2014, after shifting her focus to representing small businesses, Sarah moved to San Francisco, started her own law practice, and soon thereafter joined Coinbase. When she’s not geeking out on legal issues impacting cryptocurrencies, you’ll most likely find Sarah running, cycling, hiking, or reading a fantasy novel.
