Julie is Director of Product at Salesforce. Previously. she was VP of Product at Eventbrite. She started her career as a software engineer and moved into product management to improve communications between customers, engineers and business teams. Julie made her leap to product management while working for Elemental Software, a startup which Macromedia acquired in 1999. At Macromedia, she was a Senior Product Manager responsible for major product releases on both the Dreamweaver and Flash product lines. Later, Julie joined Apple as Product Manager of Shake in Apple’s Pro Apps Division. Julie holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from University of California, San Diego and a master’s degree from Columbia University.
