A Computer Science graduate of University of the Pacific in California, Shimada has been a professional for 15 years with experience in the design, development, analysis, implementation, testing and use of applications software. Before joining Perforce, Shimada worked for Counterpoint Systems Inc doing programming, analyst and consulting work for clients nationwide. With Perforce nearly 8 years, she works as a Senior Technical Support Engineer which leads to fun and new experiences from assisting customers with complex and critical issues such as server down, writing technical documentation, representing Perforce at trade shows, helping translate tutorials to other languages, and learning new software.
