Staci Slaughter

Staci serves as Executive Vice President, Communications and Senior Advisor to the CEO for the San Francisco Giants, one of the nation’s premier sports and entertainment franchises. Staci joined the team in 1996 and oversees brand image, messaging, media relations, communications strategy and crisis management. Staci is also responsible for the Giants’ charitable endeavors. Under her leadership, the Giants were named the 2016 Sports Humanitarian Team of the Year by ESPN. She is involved in all aspects of the organization’s operations, including baseball operations, customer acquisition and retention, media and broadcasting, consumer marketing and content development on traditional and digital media channels and real estate development. Staci played an instrumental role in the construction and development of AT&T Park. As senior advisor to the CEO, she serves as the chief of staff to Giants CEO Larry Baer, advising him on organizational management, baseball and business operations and communications strategy. In 2012, Staci received Major League Baseball’s Robert O. Fishel Award for ethics, professionalism and humanitarianism and was named a Sports Business Journal Game Changer. In 2017, she received a Most Influential Women in Business award from the SF Business Times and was named a Sports Business Journal Power Player.
