Maria is a Vice President of Engineering at Oracle Corporation with over 20 years experience. She started her career as a software engineer at Siebel Systems, and after Siebel Systems was acquired by Oracle in 2005, she has held various positions in Software Development at Oracle, recently focusing on UI Development for the Cloud. At Oracle, Maria is also a Community Leader for the Oracle Women’s Leadership initiative. Maria holds 4 patents in the area of Software Engineering. Maria is on the National Board for TechBridge Girls, a non-profit to promote under-represented girls in STEM fields, as well as a Girl Scout Leader. Born in Sweden, and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Maria earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University and an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Menlo Park, California.
