April Luo (Software Engineer, FiveStars)April Luo
April Luo started at FiveStars as an engineering intern, and joined the company as a full-stack dev in 2015. Since then she’s worked on everything from the FiveStars Android app, to the backend Python messaging system, to React Native prototype apps, to an internal machine learning project to predict sales. Most importantly of all, she is in charge of organizing monthly hotpot nights at the office.

Claudia Natasia (User Research, FiveStars)Claudia Natasia
Claudia Natasia leads User Research at FiveStars. She focuses on uncovering deep quantitative and qualitative insights to help build stronger connections between users and products. Claudia started out as a quantitative researcher in academia and moved on to work with a few Fortune 500 companies. She is passionate at creating innovative methodologies to understand conscious and unconscious user needs. Just like a great product, Claudia believes that research should also be iterative. When she is not in the office, Claudia writes and is working on finding ways to empower international students and communities in the Bay Area.

Reenam Saluja (QA Manager, FiveStars)Reenam Saluja
Reenam Saluja is a results oriented quality engineering leader with over seven years of experience in quality assurance, test automation, technical program management, development life cycle and software releases. In her current role, she is helping ship quality software products that are focused on the customer rewards program for local businesses. A problem solver at heart, she applies her passion for quality creating testing solutions for products in development and production. Reenam holds a masters degree in Managing Information Systems from Purdue University, Indiana. Previously, she worked at Google in multiple different product and infrastructure teams where she was charged with test and release management, building automation infrastructure and lead an offshore team. Reenam loves to live an active lifestyle and in her free time she loves traveling, hiking, camping, cooking, yoga and dancing.

Monica Andrews (Director of Sales/Ops Training, FiveStars)Monica Andrews
Monica Andrews is the Director of Sales/Ops Training and Development for FiveStars. She leads a team of Learning Professionals which focus on the onboarding and ongoing development of outside and inside sales groups, sales leaders and most recently operations organization. Since Monica has been with the company she started FiveStars University – training and development programs to learn-improve-advance in sales roles. Her most recent accomplishments within the organization are, the first FiveStars playbooks for sales and sales leaders, 6- week virtual onboarding, a new and improved sales process, script and sales deck and over 50 sales eLearning courses and Training programs. She was recently certified by FIERCE, Inc. at their highest certification, Leaf level, to facilitate FIERCE conversations to the FiveStars Leadership team and eventually bring FIERCE Conversations training program to the company. Her goal with FiveStars is to continue to grow a culture of excellence through learning – where people feel empowered to grow their skills and improve in their careers. Monica has been in the Learning Industry for 18 years and Sales for 12 years. She is passionate about developing people to achieve their full potential and reach their desired goals both professionally and personally. When Monica is not at FiveStars you can find her spending time with her family – husband and 2 fur babies, cooking, gardening, hiking, skiing, reading a book on how to be better at life or enjoying a glass of wine.

Gracie Binder (Head of Customer Retention, FiveStars)Gracie Binder
Gracie Binders is a founding employee at FiveStars and was the company’s first official hire. She spent her first year in sales, helping to build out the company’s preliminary network of local businesses. Her second year at FiveStars was spent in product marketing and PR to develop both internal and external content for various teams and our customer base. Over the last three years, she has been in the Operations department building and scaling FiveStars’ customer retention teams. When Gracie’s not working, she can be found playing video games and cuddling with her beloved dog, Winnie The Pooch.

Stephanie Marcellin (Technical Recruiter, FiveStars)Stephanie Marcellin
Stephanie Marcellin started at FiveStars nearly 3 years ago on the recruiting team. During her time at FiveStars, she has built out the university relations and internship programs, and currently leads all technical and non-sales hiring. Prior to her work at FiveStars, she worked as a teacher at boarding schools in England and Kenya, as well as in sales at Yelp. When Stephanie is not at FiveStars, you can find her spending time with her wife and cat, cooking, playing flag football, raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association, wine tasting or planning her next vacation.
