Speaker Bios:

Chung Meng CheongChung Meng Cheong, Chief Product Officer, Realtor.com
Chung is the Chief Product Officer of Move, Inc., the operator of realtor.com®, where he is responsible for overseeing the company’s product development to help make every stage of the home journey, simple, efficient and enjoyable. He joined Move in April 2017 from Financial Engines, where he served as Executive Vice President, Product Management and Consumer Marketing. Chung brings a strong background in product strategy, consumer experience, marketing and advertising across multiple industries. Prior to joining Financial Engines, he served as Chief Product Officer at 33 Across Inc., a big data ad tech startup. He also worked at YP Holdings, formerly AT&T Interactive, where as a member of the executive team he was responsible for product, business management, UX and creative design and eBay as a group product manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Auckland and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management.

Chung will walk the audience through the realtor.com® dedication to consumer experience, customer success, and brand awareness.

 

Pam HolmbergPam Holmberg, EVP, People, Realtor.com
Pam recently joined realtor.com to lead our people organization. Pam is a highly motivated and energetic HR leader with experience in both high-growth technology and start-up companies. Prior to joining the realtor.com family, Pam has held numerous HR leadership roles at Pivotal, NetApp, and LSI and was most recently VP, Human Resources at Veritas. Over her twenty year career, Pam has partnered with executives and senior management on complex organizational and leadership issues. Pam holds a bachelor’s degree from Mount Saint Mary’s University.

Pam will invite everyone to feel at home at realtor.com and provide an overview of the company.

 

 

Latife Genc KayaLatife Genc Kaya, Principal Data Scientist, Realtor.com
Latife focuses on lead conversion, customer ROI and pricing algorithms. Previously at Groupon Inc. she worked on a variety of data science projects from dynamic pricing to ROI analytics, predicting merchants’ value to Groupon and food dispatching algorithm. With a PhD in Algorithms, Combinatorics and Optimization from Carnegie Mellon University, Latife loves blending machine learning and optimization methods when solving business problems.

Nan KeNan Ke, User Experience Research Lead, Realtor.com
Nan is the Lead User Experience Researcher at realtor.com and an evangelist for user-centered culture. In her role, she partners with product and engineering teams to make sure that consumer voices are represented in product decisions. From conducting empirical research to creating journey maps, Nan together with her team ensures that the organization progresses with a solid understanding of the market and consumer needs. Nan has been with realtor.com for two and a half years. Prior to that, she worked at Levi Strauss. & Co., Ipsos, and TNS in consumer research and consulting roles. She earned her Master’s in Communications at the University of Illinois and undergrads in Information Science at the University of Science & Technology of China.

Heidy KurniawanHeidy Kurniawan, Senior UX Designer, Realtor.com
Heidy is a Senior UX Designer for consumer products at realtor.com. She’s keen to help 63 million monthly online users finding their next home through a delightful user experience and pixel perfect design. To ensure an efficient and productive workflow, she works closely with product, research and engineering team as a part of her design process. Prior to that, she worked at Yellow Pages where she was responsible for end-to-end design across all consumer facing platforms, including iOS, Android, mobile and desktop website that drive digital revenues over $400M a year.

Sonali SambhusSonali Sambhus, Senior Director, Software Engineering, Realtor.com
Sonali leads the consumer front-end engineering development organization for realtor.com. If you have used Realtor.com for your home search on either the Web or smart phone app, you’re using what Sonali’s team builds! Sonali is also a passionate advocate for women in the workforce. Sonali spearheads the Inspiring Women @ RDC Club and has written a book on this topic in her past life! Prior to joining realtor.com, Sonali was a VP of Engineering at Vuclip, leading the entire Engineering organization for Vuclip. Prior to that she started a company ’10jumps’ which specialized in Data Analytics and went through a successful acquisition.

Sarah StaleySarah Staley, Senior Director, Corporate & Employee Communications, Realtor.com
Sarah is a highly-experienced communications strategist with demonstrated leadership executing company-wide critical programs. For twenty years, Sarah has led communications, marketing, built partnerships and evangelized authentic voice and audience optimization. Sarah works across realtor.com as a trusted advisor and authority in voice. In her prior roles at VMware, Stanford, Apple, the Clinton Administration, and as a news reporter, Sarah has proven ability to lead and successfully navigate between tactical and strategic objectives, blend with best practices, and deliver success.

Sarah will be talking about the power of intersecting with others using your personal story and will facilitate the panel discussion.

 

Sam WellerSam Weller, Senior Manager, User Experience Design, Realtor.com
Sam leads the Experience Design team for consumer products at realtor.com. After 10 years designing for REA Group’s flagship brand realestate.com.au in Australia, he relocated to Northern California 18 months ago. Motivated every day to help millions of Americans make one of the biggest and most stressful decisions of their lives easier through technology, empathy and human centered design. Proud to lead such a talented and passionate team of designers and inventors in such a diverse and challenging market.
