Girl Geek Speaker Bios:

Dorothy TseDorothy Tse, VP of Product Management, Quantcast
Dorothy is the Vice President of Product at Quantcast. In her current role, Dorothy is responsible for scaling Quantcast’s product suite while developing new capabilities that drive value for customers. Dorothy most recently served as Head of Global Marketing Solutions Technology at Facebook where she led Product Management for global internal data products and internal CRM. Prior to Facebook, Tse spent time at Nielsen as SVP of Product Leadership responsible for their digital advertising measurement products and self service capabilities. She was previously Vice President of Product Management at advertising effectiveness company, Vizu which was acquired by Nielsen and led their acquisition activities. Dorothy holds a B.S. in International Business from the University of California, Davis.

Disha GosaliaDisha Gosalia, VP of Service Operations & Support, Quantcast
Disha is the Vice President of Service Operations and Support at Quantcast. In her current role, Disha is responsible for leading Quantcast’s global customer service organization. Prior to joining Quantcast in 2018, Disha worked at General Electric where she was responsible for scaling up the global customer support & operations team for GE’s Industrial Internet and Big Data analytics platform. While at GE, Disha led a Devops transformation, to influence company-wide decisions that directly impacted customer outcomes and operational productivity. Prior to GE, she worked at CallidusCloud, where she helped build onshore & offshore support teams, establishing support processes and tools as well as customer account management & renewals. Disha holds a B.S. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors with her husband and 2 kids.

Somer SimpsonSomer Simpson, Head of Product Management – Measure, Quantcast
Somer has spent over 20 years in online media or media-related start-ups. She left a budding career in photojournalism to explore “this new web thing” in 1994 when she helped spearhead digital content for the Gainesville Sun, the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel, and the Miami Herald. In 1999, she moved west to run product for Knight Ridder Digital, leading the team that built the company’s centralized content ingestion and publishing system. The platform, along with several other social-based innovations, enabled the team to publish before, during and after the storm when Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005 and took Knight-Ridder’s Biloxi paper offline. The combined print and online coverage won the 2006 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service Journalism. After Knight-Ridder, she leads product teams and drove strategy at several companies, including Zvents and AT&T Interactive, eventually moving to Quantcast this year to help grow the Measure product for publishers.

Esther HsuEsther Hsu, Staff Software Engineer, Quantcast
Esther is a Staff Software Engineer at Quantcast on the Targeting Product Engineering team. In her current role, Esther leads the development of Quantcast Advertise products and features. Since joining Quantcast in 2012, she has designed and built systems (machine learning pipelines, feedback control loops, and alerting systems) to optimize ad campaign performance and delivery. Esther holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.

Malvika MathurMalvika Mathur, Senior Software Engineer, Quantcast
Malvika is a Senior Software Engineer at Quantcast. In her current role, Malvika is a team lead for the Core Data Pipelines team as a part of the Data Platform team. Prior to joining Quantcast in 2017, Malvika was a Software Developer at Microsoft. Malvika holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Manipal Institute of Technology.

Brittni GustafBrittni Gustaf, Senior Software Engineer, Quantcast
Brittni is a Senior Software Engineer at Quantcast. In her current role, Brittni is a full stack engineer, specializing in the front end, on the Audience Measurement Engineering team. Recently, she was pulled off her normal work to implement the front end and provide JavaScript expertise for QC Choice, Quantcast’s consent solution for GDPR. Prior to joining Quantcast in 2014, Brittni was an Instructional Assistant at the University of Michigan. Brittni holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan. In her free time, she enjoys surfing, hiking, gaming, and building websites.
